she sells sea shells

three days in boston, one on cape cod and one in dc later, i have returned to low country. today it is one hundred eight degrees outside. during my three weeks away from home, my parents spontaneously got a small gray kitten. three days after returning & meeting said kitten, my arms and hands are covered in bite and scratch marks, i have a scratch on my cheek from this morning when he pounced while i was sleeping, and currently blood is dripping down my leg from him trying to jump into my lap but not quite making it and falling down my leg. but seriously, he is so cute when he sleeps.
